Nassau Cemetery is located between Shelby and Round Top off FM 1457. The cemetery is near the junction of Nassau Road and Neumann Road. The cemetery is about one acre of meadow land, unfenced, and well kept. The Nassau School (1890-1943) was next to this cemetery. Land for the cemetery was given by a Mr. Stanley.
The oldest recorded grave is that of Wilhelmine Rummel who died Dec.26, 1930. Benjamin Schlabach and Rawlin F. Weber, who both died in 1945, served in World War II.
