The following death dates can be found in Texas Masonic Deaths with Selected Biographical Sketches, by Michael Kelsey, Nancy Graff-Kelsey, and Ginny Guinn Parsons, published in 1998 by Heritage Books, Inc., Bowie MD. The deaths were reported in lodge records covering the stated "Masonic Year".

LaFayette Lodge No. 34 was located at La Grange, Lyons Lodge No. 195 was located at Lyons near Schulenburg, Fayetteville Lodge No. 240 at Fayetteville, Florida Lodge No. 46 at Round Top, and Winchester Lodge No. 282 at Winchester.

**The LaFayette Lodge's high number of deaths in 1867 was in part due to a yellow fever epidemic. It caused the deaths of C. R. Marchman in La Grange on August 28, 1867. Zeb. M. P. French in LaGrange on September 6, 1867, and V. Korn in La Grange on September 12, 1867.
